One Great Hour of Sharing
A gift to One Great Hour of Sharing enables the church to share God’s love with our neighbors-in-need around the world by providing relief to those affected by natural disasters, provide food for the hungry, and helping to empower the poor and oppressed. The three programs that share this offering are
- Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
- Presbyterian Hunger Program
- Self-Development of People
Our church will be collecting Box Tops to support our local schools. Each month, we will donate collected Box Tops to a different school in Morgan County.

Church World Service
Our church is currently collecting money and donations for health kits for Church World Service.
Date: The 3rd Sunday of each Month
You can make a financial gift or give a donation of canned goods. Our church has long promoted the emergency ministries of the Morgan County Interfaith Emergency Care program. This program maintains a food pantry and, when possible, can offer some emergency assistance with special needs.
Date: Last Friday of the Month
Location: Starting Points
We have a very diligent group that serves and sometimes cooks meals for the Mealtime Soup Kitchen on the last Friday of the month. If you would like to help, please contact the church office.
Cents-Ability Hunger Offering
We are encouraged to do more than just pray for God to feed hungry people in our communities and the world. By setting aside 4 cents each meal time or more, we can contribute out of our abundance to the needs of others. Some of the moneys serve MCIEC and the Mealtime Soup Kitchen here in Berkeley Springs.
